Pre-School
Educational Philosophy
The Play Planet Pre School is a stimulating and safe environment, which provides an easy transition for your child from home to a group setting.
We believe that to thrive in all areas of their development children need warmth and affection, a safe and stimulating environment to play and explore with encouragement and guidance from adults.
Children will learn through play in a developmentally appropriate way, with a balance between free play and teacher guided activities.
Our recipe for an enriched and stimulating environment involves the following:
1) Providing a source of positive emotional support
2) Stimulating all the senses ( a multi-sensory environment)
3) A stress and pressure free environment
4) Offering a nutritious snack
5) Social interaction
6) Challenges that are neither to easy or difficult for a child at their stage of development
7) Giving each child the opportunity to choose their own activities, as children are unique and different.
8) Development of a broad range of skills – intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially, and musically
9) Providing an enjoyable atmosphere that promotes exploration and learning through play.
Our classrooms can accommodate 18-25 children, depending on age group and size of classroom. Each class has a qualified teacher and helper with edu-care experience.

The aftercare runs five days a week (Monday till Friday)
The hours will be from 12h30 till 17h30.
